Lunch and Snacks
A nutritious snack is served to the children daily. Parents may volunteer for send in water and snacks. Lunch is not provided by the school and must be brought in from home each day if your child is in the full day program or will be staying for lunch
Parent involvement
Parents are always welcome at Transfiguration Nursery School. We provide many opportunities for you to participate in our program during the school year. Parents may volunteer to help with class parties, join us on field trips, or assist with special projects. Orientation is in September, and Parent-Teacher conferences are held once a year.(Not available during Covid crisis)
Birthdays
A child's birthday is an exciting occasion and fun to celebrate in school. Treats from home to share with classmates are welcomed.
Health
Any children entering Transfiguration Nursery School must have a medical examination and be up to date with NJ state-required immunizations before the first day of school. A medical form will be provided by the school. We ask for your cooperation in keeping your child home when ill. We are an allergy-aware pre-school. We accommodate children with food allergies. New regulations require masks and health check upon arrival daily.
Safety
Parents are responsible for transportation to and from school. A parent or guardian must escort the child in or use our valet drop-off service. Children must be signed in and signed out and will be released only to parents or persons authorized by parents.No parents allowed inside building during Covid crisis.
Insurance
Enrolled children are covered under an accident insurance policy paid for by Transfiguration Nursery School.
